Glitch Princess is the name of the latest album by Natasha Yelin Chang aka yeule. The princess of errors takes all she can find in the world and the internet and reassembles it in a flawed form till the mistakes suddenly sound like the only thing right, and a new beauty emerges from the hyper-artificial, hyper-pop postmodern pastiches that is no longer artificial at all but rather very human and very deep. Born in Singapore, yeule was influenced by dystopian manga and anime as well as the subversive interface aesthetic of London based label PC Music. Glitch Princess picks up where Grimes left off a few years ago: music for non-binary cyborgs.
