THEORY & TALK

This presentation expands upon ideas developed in Material Witness: Media, Forensics, Evidence (MIT Press, 2020) to examine how changing environmental systems are generating a planetary archive of material witnesses to climate change. Much of this work has been developed through the project Learning from Ice, reflecting upon the ways in which the different knowledge practices and experiences are entangled with legal questions, human rights violations but also claims for social and environmental justice.
