Commissioned work

The project by Oliver Ressler, who sees himself as a solidaric watchdog of climate activism, is based on video recordings of chain reactions of observable climate warming in the Arctic, which were made during an expedition to the Svalbard archipelago in July 2022. In the video installation of climate feedback loops, the incipient collapse of the texture of life finds its acoustic counterpart in crunching, roaring, and groaning sounds.
