ART & INSTALLATION
The expanded cinema video installation takes as its point of departure various shortcomings in the behavior of computer game avatars controlled by human players. These “failure scenarios” are transposed onto the bodies of real performers. At the interface between experimental film, music-clip and dance performance it embraces the insuffiscient of algorithms and gamers instead of longing for the perfect game flow, and mirrors and extends the cinematic narrative into real space.
